My friend ask me to say that few chapters form Cassells Illustrated History of England volume IV are published. This book will be very useful for anybody who interesting in British history, and this volume is about reign of Charles I-II in England. Very interesting time and very interesting story.

Shortly it will be a Christmas time!!!! And we will drink alcohol!!!! Therefore one of the most important enzyme in our organism will be alcohol dehydrogenase.
Even such small creature, like Drosophila have it! On the picture you can see the alcohol dehydrogenase from Drosophila. Protein with PDB code 1A4U.
I can't tell anything special about this protein, except it can destroy alcohol molecules ;) And of course that this enzyme is a NAD(H)-dependent oxidoreductase belonging to the short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases family.... Thats it.

Few month ago I've bought very beautifull kitten. white one :) I've find him in one of the shops listed here pets shop of New York and I'm very happy that now I'm not alone at home!
Maybe somtimes latter I will publish some pictures of this beautifull kitten, but now he is about 6 lb which is very good weight for 5 month old ( Read more )
